Redondo Beach

The pier at Redondo beach offers shopping, fish markets, the fun factory arcade and carnival rides and an International Boardwalk. It's a great place to be watching the boats sail by. You can fish off of the pier without a fishing license. However, I would not suggest eating them. There are plenty of places to eat. Tony's on the pier for jazz and blues music or upstairs to El Torito for margaritas! There is nothing quite like dinner at sunset on the pier. Less expensive fare is available too (Hot Dog On A Stick and fish'n'chips). The pier in Redondo has got it all, from postcards to pearls.

You rent boats at the pier or stay on the pier and go to the Fun Factory. It's not only an arcade, this place actually has carnival rides (like Tilt-A-Whirl) indoors. Don't eat too much before getting on!
